Porting issues, phone number won't verify on iPhone

I've been through all of the standard stuff. I think the problem is that I swapped out the SIM card before getting the confirmation text from my old provider. Now Public Mobile seems to be making it very difficult for me to be in contact with someone who can actually help me solve the problem. Right now I'm leaning towards cancelling and going with someone who can offer real tech support.

That woulda been nice if PM used their ANNOUNCEMENT section to let us Forum contributors know of the on-going issue.  Thanks for that info, Phil

Seems like this has been on-going problem for a lot of ported numbers for the last couple of days. Then customers have reported getting no responses either. I hope I'm wrong, but it's almost as if there's some bug or some such happening...and we're not getting help from PM to tell customers affected how to go forward.

I have also attempted to open a ticket with PM. The system simply isn't taking the request

there have been many iMessage activation issue this weekend. Not sure Apple activation server being busy or PM. Please check both Apple and PM and open tickets with both
