I am porting from Fizz to Public Mobile. I replied to the text to accept the number transfer. It’s been almost 5 hours. I can only call people. I cant receive calls or send/receive texts.

PM doesn't really have a direct number to reach out to but an email only which is CS_Agent. However, you can try giving this number a call 1 (833) 655-8479. I was told by Fizz's customer service that I can contact the number to get assisted with the transfer.

I am now in the exact same situation while waiting for my transfer to be completed from Fizz to Public Mobile. Fizz's been trying to help me out and really responsive on the issue but Public Mobile never ever got back to me after a few days that I sent a private message to their email at CS_Agent.

That’s awesome. I wish Koodo gave out a support number like Fizz. I got nothing after submitting my “YES” for port number request. I lost service to Koode and my PM is stuck at step 5/6 which is number transfer/select but that’s already done. I submitted a message request 10hrs ago. The submit a ticket option doesn’t work. I feel stuck and regretting this move.

Unable to receive calls or text after switching from virgin to public.....already replied yes to port out request yesterday

Finally it’s resolved. This is what I did:
1. Asked PM CS agent in a ticket to resend a transfer request
2. Called the porting company/office at the 1833-xxx-xxxx number (you must have it in the message you got from earlier carrier, the message you have replied YES to) and asked them to authorise the port out request. They took 5 mins to verify details and approved it. Within 10-15 mins my Fizz was deactivated and I got a message from PM that transfer is complete.

It’s a pathetic situation right now, I hope they come up with a solution soon. It’s not a fizz problem, they said they have done everything from their end. It’s on PM end and these guys literally have no resolution in sight, at least they should notify people that it’s an outage type situation for people trying to port into PM so more people don’t try and get stuck unless the issue is resolved.

The agent from Koodo literally said they can't help PM customers. This use to be a number for porting issues but now it's just for pre-paid Koodo customers only.
Just thought I'd let you know as I know a lot of people are looking for support and a live agent would have been great. I really hope they work hard on responding to all these tickets. It sounds like they have a lot of frustrated customers without service.
