Hi

We ported our number from Wind to Public, and have lost service on the wind line, has it been ported?

Have you attempted to remove the PM SIMcard, and re-instert it?  Have you powered off your phone, and powered it back up?

Is your phone unlocked?

Hey @philipdoss porting can take from 10 minutes to maybe 3 hours or longer. Usually the port goes through in 20 minutes. If it takes longer you might want to email a moderator.

Thanks, we are still unable to get calls on the wind, do you know how long it takes for the porting.

Are you able to get calls on the Public Mobile though?

@philipdoss Hi, as soon as you lose service on your wind line. The port has been sucessfully completed and everything from receving calls/texts and data works on your public mobile line. A friend of mine ported 2 wind lines and it took about 45mins.

Hi,

That means the port has been initiated.

The port is complete when you can receive calls and texts on your "old" WIND number.

Hope this helps,

Neil
