I have a physical SIM with PM. I just added a secondary eSIM and now I want to port a number from another provider to the eSIM. How do I do this while ensuring the number for my physical SIM with PM isn’t replaced?

First you need to logout of the primary account on the PM app then create a new account with a new email address for the secondary account. You can use the same password for the secondary account then start from scratch to activate the eSIM and wait for the confirmation text from the old carrier. You might need another phone with the old SIM in it for the text or remove the PM SIM and put in the old SIM for the confirmation text then reply with YES you are porting over to PM.

You have to have TWO PM accounts. One would be with physical SIM and the other with eSIM. So you have to have TWO phone numbers and 2 accounts.
Log in into account associated with eSIM, get account details and then initiate porting at other provider providing accounts details associated with eSIM account.

if the number you want to port is on another provider and the account is active, you can easily port that number into PM, whether esim or not
just login My Account using browser with Incognito mode. Go to the Profile page, check the phone number there, make sure that is the account you want to have the ported number
then click Transfer phone number on Profile page there and put in the correct information. Your old provider will send you a porting authorization text to the sim card of the old provider, you need to reply Yes to approve the port. Porting will then completed in another 4 hours. Just need to reboot your phone with the PM esim
