Hi @hTideGnow,
Yes, I found it on the Public Mobile website a while back and found it useful when I was subscribing to their service. I figured that others could benefit from the simplistic visual as well 🙂
Have a wonderful day!

Hi @gt37,
Here are the general steps to activate your account:
This is another article that might help you out throughout the process: https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/qc/get-help/articles/transfer-your-number

@gt37, if you are looking to port a number into Public Mobile go into the PM app and go to the "Account" tab, from there scroll down and tap on "Transfer Phone Number". Enter the number you want to transfer in. Make sure you have the account number that belongs to the old provider, DO NOT use your phone's IMEI number as this causes more trouble. Next step, you will need to have the old provider's SIM in your phone as you will receive a text message asking to confirm the number transfer, you will have 90 minutes to respond Yes. After you have responded you can remove the old SIM and install the PM SIM. Test every 15 minutes or so by calling out or calling your number from another line. This usually takes an hour or 2 but rarely takes longer.

HI @gt37
- make sure your PM account is active
- login My account, go to Profile (or Account page on the app) and copy the account number
- activate with the new provider and give them your PM account number
- shortly after, PM will send you a text about the porting request. You need to reply Yes within 90 mins
- then within 2 hours, your PM line will not be working and the port is done and your PM account will be closed
