I have a Samsung Galaxy J120W and want to know if it’s compatible with the Public Mobile network? It’s not on their list.  Anyone know for sure?

As long as it supports frequencies provided by PM in Help section, you are good to go.

Ideally will be to find PM SIM, stick it into phone and see if it works.

@mothybonks I have the same phone, and it works perfectly with PM. No complains even though it is a quite old device.

@Triguy , SM-J120W is a J1 and not a Galaxy Amp2

@mothybonks

According to Kimovli, J1 2016 will work on Public .. but might not be great on LTE

3G: good, it has both bands used

LTE: only 2 bands  B5 and b7  and lacks the important bands B4 and B12.  So, it will work but data might be on and off in some area
