Hey there
I got a phone from Public in September and now it says the battery needs to be serviced
Is there any recourse here?
I mean I know its used any everything, but shouldn't a battery go more than 4 months before its pooched? I mean who inspected this thing?
Its a little frustrating

Your phone has 30 days return policy and 1 year warranty.
Contact agent for instructions.
To Contact CSA-agent; there are 2 methods:
https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/get-help/articles/contact-an-agent
Ticket has to be opened through chatbot - https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html
Having a ticket is preferred way to contact agent as they might respond faster then receiving personal mail.
If opening a ticket does not work very first time, contact agent directly.

The phone was previously used, was it not? Not shipped with a new battery. But do pursue with PM.

You should still be able to claim the one year warranty that came with that phone purchase.
Use the Chatbot Simon to get a service ticket started.
