@Marco3 while that site should be a handy resource, it is also misleading in a dangerous way. They continue to list Public Mobile as running a 2G GSM network https://www.frequencycheck.com/carriers/public-mobile-canada, where PM has never run a GSM network. This is depsite several community members reaching out to them over the years and asking them to correct this misinformation. The problem here is that people with phones from overseas that lack UMTS/W-CDMA 3G 850 and 1900MHz frequencies needed for talk may be told by this site their phone is compatible because it thinks PM has a 2G GSM network they can use for talk. This is completely incorrect.
The community generally recommends https://www.willmyphonework.net, which does not suffer from this issue. If your device is not listed there, you need to manually verify the specs. When in doubt, post here in the community and someone will help verify.

Text can work on LTE. Voice calls need 3G. Also that list is incomplete and misrepresents LTE band 4.
Hi @sheytoon
Thanks for pointing out
And yeah they should put the uplink and downlink on the same line.
And there are more lte frequencies that are supported, but I think Simon lists those as they are most present
Cheers

For the phone to work on public mobile it has to have the following frequencies
Note that for talk and text 3g is absolute must

@Marco3Hi, all your post says is "H", please edit it and let us know what you need help with (I have attached a picture at the bottom of this message showing you how to edit your post)
If this has to do with phone upgrades / eligibility for new phones by public mobile, just a FYI public mobile does not sell phones. Public mobile sells no hardware. Only phone plans and sim cards.
