I was trying to switch to a new plan today on my renewal date (today), but my card is already charged with my old plan. The new plan is basically the same, but cheaper. However, the options are to pay either now, or my next renewal date. If I pay today, can I get the amount that I was charged earlier today for the old plan refunded?

@Csquared , the day begins at 12am eastern time. If you tried to perform a plan change during the day today, the renewal will have already taken place. If the plan you desire is still available, select it and use the change on next renewal option.

Pick Next Renewal Date since your renewal date is today. The system might charge you for the old plan and the new plan if you pick NOW.
You should have pick the new plan a few days before your renewal date.

@Csquared No, best to go with change on renewal. The only other option would be to open a ticket at the chat icon bottom right of this page and ask if agents will switch it, but normally there is no pro-rated refund. For future reference best to set up a plan change for next renewal before the actual renewal date as the renewal can happen at switch over to renewal day.
