HI @dh301823   If you can added it without problem, then you can use it.

You can try to make a minimum manual payment of $1 to test it as well

As long as you have registered valid, acceptable card with PM, your rewards will stay intact.

PM accepts Can/US credit cards and Visa Debit.

There is no pre-authorized payments with PM. Even though payments are 'automatically' taken from your CC if you are on autopay they are not considered pre-authorized payments by CC companies thus you will not get any extra rewards (if CC offers that) for paying PM bill.

HI @dh301823

To answer your question , it won't impact your $2 Autopay /Pre-authorized payments discount  (Please note only if you are on the old reward system there is such $2 discount.  If you are on the new system, you get 5% reward point back regardless if Pre-Authorized payments are setup)

HOWEVER, some people have trouble changing to Visa debit.  It really depends on the card.  (And it could be even tricker if it is a Mastercard Debit) .   You can try .  The good thing with the system now is that you can just try to change the card  without deleting the card first.

So, if the change is not successfully, your old card will still be there and you don't have to try adding the old one back

Try it first and see how it goes

If it fails the first time, try the second time with Incognito mode or a different browser.

If it fails a second time, do not try again for 24 hours as it could triggered a fraud lock

Sorry, but Public Mobile does not accept PAD.  If you go into your bank's online account, you'll find that there is no selection available for Public Mobile.

Public Mobile does accept payments using Visa Debit.  If that's what you have, you can log into selfserve.publicmobile.ca and then go into the payments section.  There's a "Manage Payments" section to change your payment method.

Rewards won't be affected as long as  you maintain automatic payments.

@dh301823

your have old rewards you will getting $2 every 30 day, if you have new rewards you will 1 Point.
