I have been having issues with tying to park my Public Mobile number with VOIP. The process has been an ongoing drawn out affair with blame being put on "upstream providers" of PM and VOIP not communicating. This has resulted in extra payments on both PM and VOIP with nothing being resolved. Has anyone had this issue? It feels like throwing money down a black pit. Is there anywhere one can lodge a complaint?

Thanks. We have been having lengthy chats with many different PM customer service reps, being online with both VOIP and PM at the same time. Their technology still couldnt communicate. I guess its not such a straight forward process as one is led to believe.

hi @Coz
yes, PM cycle is 30 days, many people missed that
in terms of the lengthy failed ported, was it on the VoIP side? Did you ever get a text from PM asking for your Yes reply to the port?

With nothing being resolved on either side, I froze my PM account on what I had marked as the last day of my plan as I am usually charged on the 26th and did not want to pay yet another month of an unused plan (Im travelling out of country)... turns out a monthly plan means 30 days, not a full month, so I was already charged for a full month the morning of the evening I cancelled it. I have been told I will get a refund from VOIP, but not PM.

hi @Coz
several weeks. So, who was the main one to blame?
honest, I don't think there is much you can do. But you can try to message support and express your frustration and see if they will reimburse you some money. You can submit ticket by direct message:

Yes, I am aware, thanks. I left several weeks for it to be processed before the end of my plan.

@Coz so your being charged by both companies for same number ? Is your service with public mobile still working ?

hi @Coz
do you aware that porting to VoIP takes as many as 7 days? this is normal
and things like this, there is really not much you can complain. Sorry about that
