hi

 

I want to make the payment and i am using my visa debit card but it is not working

all stores are closed. what do i do? i cannot use my mobile phone. I speak to any customer service agent. unbelievable. i just cant believe that a telecom service provider does not have a customer help line number. You put such a lengthy process just to speak to customer service agent. please ask someone to call me. if you goddman client for GOD SAKE.

@Marie10 do you know if you have a new expiry date? if you do, login to your self serve account and update your credit card details by removing the card and then re-add it.

 

if not, try making a manual payment and choosing the "choose other, enter the desired amount" option to add funds. do not choose the "top up account" option

@syedrazvi  You have two options:

 

  1. Purchase a voucher online from Xoom, Recharge or Ding
  2. Submit a ticket and ask the Moderator Team to add your visa debit to your account. 

    To submit a ticket to the Moderator Team, please start a conversation with the Public's virtual assistant, SIMon by clicking the icon below:

    If you are still having problems contacting Public Mobile then click here. The link  sends you to the private message function and adds the moderator team as recipient for a private message. You just have to enter a title and text in the body of the message describing the problem and post. The message will be received by the moderator team and they will respond to it. You will receive the response in your private message inbox.

    Please note that account verification may be required when contacting the Moderator Team

When using self service clear your browser cache/history/cookies. Close browser and open a new browser in incognito/private mode.

If you have access to wifi then you could use either recharge.com or ding.com.  There would be a service charge.

@syedrazvi  your visa debit may be locked from too many attempts. Wait an hour from the last attempt, clear your browser history, go to private/incognito mode and try again to add it. When entering your debit/ credit card information:
1. Enter the credit card address exactly as it appears on your statement ( capitalize all if necessary ).
2. Leave the apartment field blank, if applicable enter your apt in the street address field ie xxx - street address.
3. Enter your postal code without spaces ( if there is a space on the credit card statement then enter the first 5 digits only with the space). 

 

If you visa debit is already set up as the autopay card on your self service account. And your account is suspended, 

You may reactivate a suspended account online or by calling 611.
Via your account online
1. If you have already registered, or will first register, a credit card, go to step 2. OR deposit a voucher for at least your plan cost and go to step 3.
2. Go to the payment tab, select single payment and  amount due.
3. Select the reactivate account button.
4. Restart your phone.
or can also use 611 to make your payment( once you know your 4 digit pin):
1. press 1 to make payment
2. press 2 credit card ( or 1 voucher)
3. press 1 amount due.
4. Restart your phone.

Do I hear some frustration in your tone ! 

You can get a payment voucher from Shell Gas and dial 611 to add it to your account.

If you have a valid credit card or Visa Debit card on your file, you should be able to call 611 to add $$ to your account, then Reactivate account.

You can make payment by going into your self serve account. You can use a Debit visa there.

If you want you can also call 611 from your phone and process a payment that as well.
