Old Public Rewards

I just wonder if I change my plan to one of the newer plans, do I lose the old Public Rewards (Loyalty, Refer-a-friend, pre-authrorized payments). I just want to make sure I know what I will be paying if I switch.

@cuya

It is understandable why you might think that.

When Public Mobile advertises its plans, the discussion around rewards is all geared toward public points, causing some folks to believe they must switch.

It is good that you asked here before doing so.

Your rewards are tied up with your account, not plan so you can change plan every 30 days if you want to.

Current $ Rewards will stay until you change to Points.

Hi @cuya you will have to enroll the new rewards Public Points yourself,  this won't be triggered by plan change.

So, feel free to change your plan and enjoy the same old rewards

@cuya

Don't worry.  If you change plans, you will still be on the old rewards system.  I already change a couple of times and I am still on the old rewards system.

@cuya @No you will not lose the old rewards by changing plans they are tied to your account not your plan so go ahead and make a plan change

if you ever opt out of the old rewards for points then the old loyalties rewards are gone for good and just points

@cuya nonworry, changing plan won't migrate you onto new rewards system.  You will still be on old rewards system  with same rewards discount
