There could be a multitude of reasons why your services (full or partial) are not working.
Most likely if it's not a new service or porting-related, it's related to payment issues on renewal or overall reception/service outages or depletion of limited services (i.e. calling/data) on certain plans.

Any error message showing on the phone status bar on top? Anything like "No SIM"? "SIM not provisioned"? "No Network"?
you have a chance to try to use your phone in a different area ?

Try rebooting your phone. If that doesn't work toggle airplane mode on/off. What plan do you have?

Can you receive calls? Browse internet not on wifi? Both text directions?
