I recently registered into a plan and received a phone number through public mobile and am unable to receive any texts, In this case, a text from public mobile verifying that It is my phone so I can receive full access and another verification text from apple to add the phone number. How can I fix this issue?

would this be through the mobile app? I was looking for an email option yet I couldn't seem to find it

Log in to your PM account and click on 'resend code' and you should be offered email option to receive a code.
