Texts not working after number transfer

I transfered my number from Virgin to Public about 30 hours ago but texts are still not incoming or outgoing. I'm able to make and receive calls on the correct number but text are just not working. I use texts for a lot of verifications so really need to get them working. Any advice?

Try a simple reboot of your phone (if not tried already).  Network reset of phone (note: this will erase any saved Wifi passwords).  

Which phone are you using?  Apple or android?  Might be a set up issue with iMessage (Apple) or RCS chat (Android). 

@BexLig , if the calling function is working for incoming and outgoing calls, then there might be provisioning problem with the account.  Use the chat symbol on the lower right corner of the web page to initiate a support ticket.

@BexLig - Have you ensured that your port has gone through? Is your Virgin Plus account / Sim / eSIM still working? please reply so I can give you the number to the porting team.

If it doesn't, the SIM Swap Protection must have a long timer.
