I can phone someone but they cannot phone me. When they try it says that the call cannot be completed.

you can try reseat the SIM card and Make sure your phone is off before removing your SIM card,
1. power off your device
2. take out the SIM card,
3. waiting a 1 minute,
4. put it back and power on,
5. toggling airplane mode off/on,
and try manually selecting network "3G ONLY" or WCDMA only,

and do Rebooting your phone ,This is quick and simple,to refreshing your network,
*what is meant by rebooting the device turn off and turn it back on.

Agree with what @darlicious said.. swapping the 2 sims between your 2 kids' phones would be a perfect test 🙂

@Roger12 Yes, did you get a new number or you port your number from another provider?
and what kind of phone (brand /model) your second child has?

Did you request to port your number in to pm but your account is not active? Or you cancelled it before you made the port request?

My one son has had it for a couple years and no problem. Just activated my second child’s account yesterday and I can’t phone it. They can phone me but I can’t wait phone them

@Roger12 are you new to PM or have been here long? just want to see if it is something that doesn't work well lately but was good before.
Try changing your network setting to 3G Only for couple days to see if it helps. Voice is going through 3G and it might work.
Also, what kind of phone do you have ? brand/model?
