I had forgotten to accept the port via text with the old sim card. My bad!

Did you do a number transfer? Until the transfer is complete, incoming calls would continue to go to the old phone service. Also you need to have confirmed the number transfer via the old service in order for it to complete. If you have done this, then it might take a bit of time for the transfer to complete.
