Not getting non iMessage texts

I’m not seeing my messages with green bubbles showing up as delivered. A friend confirmed he never got my texts. I also don’t get a text from public when I need to log in to the site and need a 6 digit confirmation. I have to select email. 

is there a setting I need to change?

@HeidiU77 Data isn't used for non-imesssage text messages, so it wouldn't make a difference.

@TNT420  Then porting  not complete , no worries I’ll send you the porting team number private message right away . Give them call and get it fixed

You can call Public Mobile porting team to provide the correct Info and get porting re-initiate.  I will send you the porting team number.  Please check your Community inbox for my message

I ported over a week ago today. But my old Eastlink sim still seems to work. If I switch my phone back to that SIM card I can get the messages.

just one particular friend?

try to turn off iMessage  (but make sure send as sms is enabled) and send again to test

if it works, try to turn iMessage back on

also, is your friend on Android now but he was on iPhone before?

Hey @TNT420  Turn on your data as iMessages uses data.

With regards to the 6 digit code, yes, you can have it sent to your email. If you need to know how, just let me know. But you can go into your account via online and go to Profile, then manage EverSafe ID and make sure your phone number is correct.

@TNT420  Make sure you have sms enabled in phone settings . But to submit ticket with support you can use this direct link to help again access to your account
