Not able to make or receive calls

Was working fine in the morning, its been about 1 hour  not able to receive or make calls help

Hey, I'm out in Edmonton and both mine and my significant other's phone is doing the same thing as well. 
He was expecting a very important call today and when he tried to answer it just hung up.
