Hello, I am getting random noises during voice calls with public with what I can only describe as a "data burst" noise. This happens on the 5g and LTE networks, does not do it when I am in discord on a call. I just came over from virgin with the same phone and never experienced that issue over there, any help please im about to give up on public mobile and switch back.thanks

hi @Moose78
can you confirm what exact model is the phone? maybe we can help out more
when you check your sim on another phone, try testing the phone at different spots

I have contacted pm about the issue and still no resolution, I am going to switch sim cards with another phone to see if it's the sim card or my phone

Which exact model phone? Some VoLTE functioning phones are not on Public mobile's whitelist.

Might want try a network reset of your phone (note: this will erase any saved Wifi passwords)
Which model phone are you using? Is it VoLTE compatible with PM network? Some voice calling issues with certain phones (older, international, non VoLTE) due to Telus network changes.

@Moose78 I’m no techie, and certainly not an expert at anything at all, but I suggest having PM reset your networking from the back end. You can start a message using a the orange chat bubble and explain the interference noise with them. Ask to have your network refreshed and see if that solves the issue. The agents work from 9am-10pm eastern time so you may need to wait a bit to get traction. Hope this helps, but I also know that you will get at least 2-3 more great suggestions for support in this forum in the meantime when others reply.
