My friend isn't able to text with her new public mobile account which she ported her bell number to. She can make calls however. The port was only done a couple hours ago....could it be that it's not completely ported yet? Any help would be appreciated

hi @edmontonguy2024 ask your friend to reboot the phone first and Reset all Networks
Also, confirm port really completed by test calling herself from another phone. If.she receive calls, then it is so done
and if she has iPhone, update Carrier Profile. But if she has an Android, clear Message app cache and clear data
