I have had the $25 3G plan for years but would like to upgrade to a 4G plan but there is no option in my account.
Can I upgrade without losing my rewards?

Hey @holly_nl
One thing I should mention that I keep forgetting, so very sorry about that. The plan would be instant, not at renewal date. So if you already paid for the month, you'd lose what you paid until your renewal date. They'd charge you right away.

Thanks I will give it a try.

On the top of the plans, there is an option to click from All plans to 5G or 4G plans for existing members.
Your current rewards and rewards system will stay the same unless you want to change to the Points system if you are currently on the Legacy system.

@Cheetah24 Or if you voluntarily opt into them from the rewards portal and if you do it’s a one way street and no going back @holly_nl so avoid going into the rewards portal for they very reason and just stick with my old legacy rewards

@holly_nl: And for the rewards part, yes when you upgrade or change your plan (by yourself or through the support agents) you will not lose existing rewards. The existing rewards are only lost if you cancel your plan and come back again. 🙂

@holly_nl Best to ask support they can sometimes help you might have better luck asking for then30GB for $29 as it would be seen as a upgrade not downgrading the plan . But other have had luck just by asking

I upgraded from the $25 5GB 3G plan to the $29 30GB 4G plan. Just note, they will only "upgrade" and not downgrade. I give full credit to @Handy1 and @kb_mv for sharing this with the community.
