This has never been an issue , but I am no longer receiving pictures messages? I am only able to send but not receive
Note: I have not changed anything recently and still sending to same contacts.
No issues ever, only in the last few days... Any suggestions??

Hey @Vehicle990
I use an iPhone as well and I can't send pictures with text messages when the data is turned off. iMessages are funny that way. So make sure your data is on. If you have concern about using data and you wish to keep data turned off to save it, then you may wish to either change it in the settings to send as SMS instead of iMessage which means you can leave data turned off however iMessages may not work properly. Or switch to an Android phone. BUT if your data IS turned on and using iMessages, then go into your network settings, turn off automatic and pick Public Mobile and then reboot the phone. That helped a coworker. Now his wife is asking me never to help him again. LOL

@Vehicle990 Apple funny that way needs data , ensure you have data turned on in phone settings and you should be good and of course have data left in your plan cycle

oh yes, to use MMS, you need to turn on data. It won't consume your data but it is critical to turn on data

Yes . iOS 18.0.1.
CS has indicated the problem is “the picture messages will not work without mobile data”?. However, unlimited text with picture messages is included in all plans (and technically should not use data??)
