Was working fine yesterday, but a I've had multiple people send me test messages today and I'm not receiving any of them. Outgoing messages still work.
Help please.

It's a Pixel and the default messaging App. No other SMS App installed.

@bbaron try clearing your phones cache and then restart the phone.

Actually, looks like this only partially solved the SMS issue. I'm now receiving SMS from some people (like my other phone), but not from others 😕

Thanks for the help everyone.
After realizing I wasn't receiving calls either (there go straight to voicemail), I restarted my phone. That fixed the problem with voice calls, but I still wasn't receiving SMS.
I then manually disconnected from the Public Mobile network, and then reconnected. After a couple minutes I received all the messages I had been sending from my other phone.
Glad it seems to be working again, but that's pretty sketchy all around.

@bbaron Please try:
- turning off the phone
- remove sim card
- reinsert sim card
- power back up
Also, if you have more than one SMS apps installed, try deleting that ones that you don't really use and just have one installed and enabled as a default SMS app.

@bbaron What phone and text messaging app are you using? If you have an android phone, try clearing cache from settings or try a different texting app.

When you have trouble sending or receiving SMS, it's possible to "force" the change of your SMS settings to solve the issue.
• Go to Settings
• Then go to Mobile networks and select a network other than Public Mobile, Telus, or Koodo
• When you exit the menu the phone should lose the network.
• Repeat the process and select Public Mobile as your mobile network.
This procedure will force the update of the message centre number. You can verify it in your message settings.

@bbaron, assuming you also have talk service with PM, are you able to receive phone calls?
