I've been frustrated trying to log in with my old username. It seems that you can no longer log in with the username & password, & now you have to log in with your public mobile account. But if I enter my old community username which is bluejaywpg, it says it's taken.
How do I get my old community username bluejaywpg linked to my PM account?

name does not mattter. But which email address you used for your My Account? You need to have the same email login on the Community and My Account to get the community reward. If it is the same email address and really just a Community id difference, then yes, support still helping people to change community name. You can ask them

I know it has no effect, but it would be nice to stay consistent & maybe 1 day be elected Mayor LOL.
I don't know when it started. I was not really participating in the community for a while because life was quite busy. But a problem with my PM account came up which made me try to log in so I could either post about it here or send a message to customer service, as it's affecting how much I pay for PM service.

To my knowledge, it was never deactivated.

It was taken by me because I posted many posts using that username. It would be nice to get it back, along with the badges, title (whatever it's called), etc.

It may be taken by someone else, but highly unlikely. You can contact a CS Agent and advise them you were having issues logging in.
