Setup service with on Sunday with a port from Telus landline. Number ported yesterday morning so landline is dead. Still no service from public mobile, was told yesterday by @CS_Agent that the sim was never activated and to wait up to 24hrs. Cell phone still dead.
The question is if I go with another provider can I port my old Telus # that was just ported yesterday to public mobile.

I think your number has to be active at PM to port it out.
