Hello,
I just activated my SIM card and it looks like 4G is the best I'm getting. However my phone (ZTE Axon 7) supports LTE cat6:
LTE | LTE band 1(2100), 2(1900), 3(1800), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 7(2600), 12(700), 13(700), 17(700), 20(800), 25(1900), 26(850), 29(700), 30(2300), 41(2500) - USA |
Speed | HSPA, LTE Cat6 300/50 Mbps |
GPRS | Yes |
EDGE | Yes |
I have my 'Network Mode' set to LTE/WCDMA/GSM and I have the correct APN settings (according to this forum as well as the 'reset to default' from the SIM.
I'm testing from downtown Vancouver and I'm farily sure Telus supports LTE in this area.
I get LTE without issues with my Fido sim in the same phone.
Note: Axon 7 is a dual sim phone, but I'm only using the main SIM slot (SIM1).
Thanks.

My phone’s 3G data isn’t working I don’t know what’s wrong. I’ve tried restarting it and that didn’t work, the data is turned on however I’m not which APN to use or if there are other settings on the phone that need to be configured. My phone is an Axon ZTE air.

Too late for that now, I have submitted a support request to fix it.
Unless there's a place where I can retry the port ... is there?
Looks like I can try again here
And it worked! Thanks @Luddite and @Chicklets

When porting be sure to
- click "I am authourized" BEFORE entering any numbers
- enter the account holder's name and account number exactly as they appear on the bill

Yep. It works now 🙂
Thanks. Now I just need my old number ported and I'm good to go 🙂

Some members have mentioned to wait upto 2 hours after restart and lte will be active. Not sure if this will work but worth a try.
