Hi all,
I just transferred to public mobile yesterday and my data is working but my service says "SOS only" and I cannot make any phone calls.
Solutions?

do you still have the old provider's sim? remove it or disable the old one whether it is physical or esim
and try Reset Network Settings, sometimes it is needed. All you lost is the Wifi and Bluetooth saved profiles, you just have to add them back. If you ask support, they will ask you to do the same

I have an iphone 12! I tried turning my phone off. I'm hesitant to reset the network as I don't know what data will be lost

what phone you have? if you have overseas phone, it might be a problem with 3G network and you phone not on the VoLTE whitelist

The thing is my data is working I tested it out without wifi. It's just the calling and texts that aren't working.

what phone do you have? Try Reboot phone and Reset network settings.
ask PM to check if it still does not work. You won't be able to open proper Chatbot ticket, so just message them

As your phone is in SOS mode, mobile data wouldn't be working either. Likely, you're been using Wi-Fi. I'm going to assume that you've already tried restartting your device. you can try doing a network reset..but you'll lose all saved passwords. First, try a reboot...see if that helps.
