I recently switched to public mobile from zoomer wireless, however I am unable to make or receive calls. My old phone plan was cancelled so I am stuck without service. When I call 611 it is asking me to pay again after they have already taken money from my visa. The customer support will not allow me to make a ticket so the system seems to be down. I am at a loss of what to do to get a working phone. Any help would be appreciated.

After talking to the Porting team, the number was ported. The problem seems to be with service or something else.

A critical part to porting is to receive a text from your old provider and you have to reply YES within 90 mins. If you are not receiving calls and text on your PM sim card, and only outgoing calls work, then you might have missed the step and hence porting was not completed
There is a number to call to talk to live support, they can re-trigger the process for you. I will message the number to you via the Community inbox ( https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/privatenotespage ) . Check the envelope icon on top right. Call them and get it fixed
