New sim card

LiamHJ
Great Neighbour / Super Voisin

So my daughter lost her phone and sim card. I paused my service but have since ordered a new sim card because the phone has not been found.

Her new phone does not take esim so I ordered a regular sim card on December 25th. My credit card was charged for the new sim card but I never received a confirmation email. It's now been 5 business days but I haven't received email confirmation and no delivery of the card.

When we got our first sim card in the summer it only took a few days to get the sim card. So just not sure what's happening, maybe it's the fact that we ordered it during the holidays?

Any suggestions? Just be patient hah?

Hello @LiamHJ

It could still take a few more weeks in the mail to show up.

To get a new SIM card the fastest routes are these.

https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/pick-up-SIM - Find a local store in your area.

Amazon - Here you can get it cheaper and maybe a few days wait $4.99

Once purchased, message a CS Agent and they will gladly credit your account the cost minus taxes.

  Get to a store.

  Purchase a card.

Message support asking for a credit for amount of card and upload a photo of receipt for an account credit to be given as it didn't arrive because it should've arrived already so it must've got ruined or tossed during transit by someone.

Xmas /NYE holiday and recent Canada Post strike will slow things down...could take 3 weeks or more to be delivered.

@hairbag1 @LiamHJ @hTideGnow I have had packages from China with free shipping arrive to east coast in 3 days!

hi @LiamHJ

Sim card delivery can be 3 days to 3 weeks here

But best to ask PM support agent for status update, you can  submit by direct message:
      https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437

Better to ask if you can pickup another one from a nearby Telus or Koodo store instead of wait longer to have them resend a new one
