New phone and new number

When I try to use phone it gives a message number not registered.  What do I do?

You missed the final step. You need to power off your phone by holding down the power button then wait 2 minutes and power on the phone.

@Smorty323   is the actual error "SIM NOT registered" or "SIM not provisioned"?

 

It sounds like an issue with SIM provisioning.  It is an easy fix on the PM side but you need to open ticket with them:  open the ticket now using one of the method below:

 

1. If you have access to My account: At https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot.

Start by typing "Submit a ticket", then click "Contact Us", Then click "Other", then click "Click here to submit a ticket ↗" 

2. If you don't have access to My Account or have trouble with Chatbot: Private message CS Agent at: 

      https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437


**Monitor your Community inbox (envelope icon on the top right) after the ticket is opened.  CS Agent will reply you there

Just activated Sim card and got a new number

I put a new SIM into new phone and Public Mobile gave me a number.

@Smorty323  did you just registered an account?

 

You said new number.  Did you just activate and picked a new number?  or you hare existing PM subscribers and just perform a "change number'" request and picked a new number?
