When I try to use phone it gives a message number not registered. What do I do?

Maybe it took awhile for the phone to get activated. I just tried a call again and it went through. Thank you for trying to help me. Shelley

Just activated Sim card and got a new number

I put a new SIM into new phone and Public Mobile gave me a number.
