New phone, Android 11, can't send picture mms

I just moved my pm sim into a new phone and everything works except sending pictures via mms. I can receive pictures fine. Any idea if there is a setting in Android 11 that would prevent sending mms pictures?

@Anonymous resetting the network settings and re-inputting my apn worked. As far as I know, I put in all the same entries, but lo and behold, it's working now.

Thanks.

Try resetting your network connections.

You might also make sure Android Chat settings are disabled and any MMS settings under your Message app are set appropriately or enabled (if displaying otherwise).

Try clearing your cache.

  • On your phone, go to Settings > Apps & notifications > Messages > Storage.
  • Tap on the option that says Clear Storage followed by Clear Cache.

Relaunch your MMS app.

Also try rebooting your phone.

If that does not work try resetting your APN settings.

Do you have your 'data' ON?

It will not use your data allowance but data has to be ON (at least on Android, assuming same for apple).
