They have 10 off for 6 months on 35+ plans
For two of you that would be 120 savings
You have two days to get the emails registered for it
Make sure you put email for each account

@Zedman Trying time your departure from Freedom to optimize the deal is as difficult as timing stock market purchases.
If current offers don't meet your needs out the box best give it up. Prices could go up, and then even with a promo could be worse long term than current offers.
Good luck.

If you are not in a rush, just wait. Usually PM runs promos once per month or more frequently. You can sign up for deal alerts on the plans page.

A popular promotion is the 2nd month free credit, sometimes stackable with free SIM card with in store activations.

Thanks, trying to find a good deal but not impressed with the current promos. I saw one online that was $15 off for 12 months but it was winback offer. If that was available to new customers o would have signed up my for 2 lines instantly!

Once you decide which plan you want you could walk into Walmart they frequently give free sim with in-store activation.
You can still use your referral code.
If you are not under pressure to leave your old provider right now you can also wait for a nice promotion, they sometimes give $10 off for 6/8 months or second month free, extra data monthly or data add-on.

What kind of talk do you use?
What kind of data do you use?
After an hour of no response wondering if OP just posted and left...lol

@Zedman basically each account requires a SIM card and unique email address. There are no family accounts here. Port the Freedom number that isn't the main account number first. Welcome to PM. Another option is to buy your SIM card from Canadian cell supplies Currently the SiMs are priced at $3.99 each. https://canadiancellsupplies.com/collections/latest-products/products/public-sim-card
Here's 4 articles on activation and porting and the Refer a friend reward if you need them:
1. What you require to activate https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/get-help/articles/what-you-need-to-activate
2.How to activate https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/get-help/articles/activation-account-set-up
3.How to port https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/get-help/articles/choose-your-phone-number
4. Refer a friend https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/get-help/articles/the-refer-a-friend-reward
Stay safe.

This is a hands-on, self-serve kinda place. All of the features are laid out on the site. The Get Started link up top will walk you through the process.
Your phone needs to be unlocked. It needs to be compatible with this place. You need a SIM from here. You select which plan you like. You can use the referral code from one account to "refer" the second one. You've probably already been offered a code (unsolicited) in private message from someone. Use it if you like or ask here for one. Or get one from someone you know who is already here.

@Zedman What are you guys looking for? Public Mobile has a lot of great plans and awesome rewards!
For $15/month you get 100 minutes canada-wide talk (unlimited incoming calls) and unlimited texting.
For $25/month you get unlimited talk and text and 500MB of data.
Sign up for autopay (recurring monthly payments) and you get $2 off your bill every month and a bonus of 500MB of data.
If you refer someone to public mobile you get $1 off your bill every month! Plus the person you refer gets a one time $10 discount from their bill!
For more info on their plans check out this link! (make sure to select your province!)
Any more questions do not hesitate to ask the community 🙂
Have fun saving $$$ and welcome to Public Mobile!

For your phones, though they are unlocked they may still need code to be able to accept other carriers sims
This is easiest five while you are still customer, walk into their store and ask them to unlock it they must do it free of charge of you own the phone for 90 days or longer.
To test if your phones are unlocked just borrow sim from competitor network and try to use it. You can borrow friend's it walk into Telus/Koodo store
Your phones must be able to connect to 3g on 850 and 1900 MHz
Llte bands are 2, 4, 7 and more that better

@Zedman , the way support works here is that moderators look after account problems and customers at large support each other for everything else. What would you like to know specifically? I am an ex wind customer. I was one for 4.5 years before switching to Public Mobile almost 4 years ago. It was the best move ever.
