I pay for my sister's phone and recently got her a new phone. She lives far away and I don't have access to the old SIM. I got a new SIM for the new phone but the old SIM is still working in her old phone. Can anyone help me figure out how to proceed putting the new SIM in the new phone while the old SIM is in the old phone?

@Susieqtb You cannot activate a new SIM on your sister's account unless you can log into it. If you can't do that work with her to so you can access it.
The way I did this for my sister, was to change the account email address to one that I can receive. Then when I want to login I immediately click Did not receive SMS and click Send as email.

I read in another thread that when the new SIM is activated by changing the number in the Public Mobile App that the old SIM would simply stop working. It was smooth as silk.

My sister panics at any technical task and is not capable of this. Would have been the perfect solution.

send sis the new phone with instruction to remove the sim outta the old phone and install it in the new phone.
