New SIM needed to switch 5G?

Does anyone know if I need a new SIM if I switch from 4G to 5G?

I know that I needed one when I went from 3G to 4G.

@tkdmasterg   I went straight from a PM 3G plan to a PM 5G plan on the same sim.  As @kb_mv  said I don't know why you needed a new sim before, assuming it was already a Public Mobile sim.

@tkdmasterg New sim is NOT required. Your old one will work fine. I can't imagine why you needed a new sim to go from 3G to 4G. I have had 3G, 4G and 5G plans all on the same sim.
