Change to cheaper plan $25

I am trying to change my public mobile plan to the cheaper 25$ plan but I only have the option of going with my current $35 and up. The select plans does not show the the cheaper plans that I see when I log out and view plans

I want to change or just move away from public mobile to other carriers that offer the same $25 plan as my current $35 US - mex- can  is no longer needed

You can change your plan to plans available on your account ONLY!

If desired plan is NOT visible on your account that means it is NOT available to you and even talking to agent you cannot get it.

Some plans are available to NEW customers only and sometimes some nice plans are offered to existing customers.

In most (all) cases downgrading plan is NOT possible so to get cheaper plan will involve closing current account, losing number and subscribing again (+ cost of new SIM).

Download is possible , but not all the choices you get

Check what plan choices you see on My Account -> Change Subscription page.  You can only change to plans there.  So, if the $25 plan is not there, you cannot get it.

Sadly, Public Mobile doesn't allow you to downgrade considering they are a pre paid service. 

There are two options I can recommend. You can either port out to another service provider, like Fizz cause it's the cheapest, and then port back in to the plan you want. 

The other option is to open the app on your phone and see what plans they have available for you. Then, find the lowest plan that works for you and choose "Change at Renewal". Then once the 30 day subscription is close to an end, do it again. Open the app and see what lower plans are available to you. Pick the one that works best and change for renewal. Keep doing this until the plan is where you want it.

you can only change plans available on your My Account, Change Subscription page.  If you don't see the $25 plan, you cannot get it

and honest, $25 generally is a not a plan for downgrade.  You might be able to downgrade to a $30 or $29 but these offers come and go.  You need to keep checking weekly

once you have a higher value plan, it's very difficult to downgrade to much cheaper. You can only take whichever plan options you see in your particular account.
