Need to speak with customer service

Hello

I have seen the other posts from people saying the plans are for new subscribers only and they they have had to cancel and resubscribe in order to get the other pricing.  This doesn't seem logical.   My daughters line is currently on the $25 per month for 1GB.  There is currently an offer for 30GB 4G speeds for $29 that I would like to sign her up for.  I would rather not have to change her number.

Can someone please message me to discuss options?  If this doesn't work out then I will likely port her number to a different provider.

Thanks

HI @gwcorley

those plan offered by the Loyalty department are different from what you see with the advertised plans.  Also, they have Winback plans, but they are different

PM also has other plans offered specifically for existing, pretty much like the loyalty plans.  Many receive the $25-5GB plans via sms

Hi @gwcorley

Anyone at any time can change their accounts. These are all pre paid accounts. Meaning you can walk away at any time or start a different plan at any time. The only draw backs are that you'd lose any legacy rewards if you're on it or you lose your phone number. The only way around that is to port out to another provider and them port back in. It's a lot of work sometimes but it can be done and really isn't that hard. It's a question of how much work you want to put into this. And if I may say, the $29 plan is nice, however you may wish to consider the $34 plan instead. $5 but so many more perks. 30GB capped vs 50GB unlimited at reduced speeds. There's my opinion. Good Luck.

Thanks for your reply but not all carriers do this.  The larger mobile carriers will typically bend over backwards to keep a subscriber.  Bell for instance has an entire loyalty department that will provide better pricing to keep a customer as most companies know it is cheaper to keep a customer than to try and win a new customer.  Existing customers that are happy with the service will be more inclined to tell their friends and thus bring new customers.  PM would be getting additional money from me for providing additional service that costs them pennies.... I will see what the CS agent says.  Thanks again

@gwcorley  They are new activation only plans . I to was upset to see they had 50GB for $34 .when I just signed up for 40GB for $34 . Only way for me to bet plan I wanted was to create a new account with new email and sim
