Need help making international calls again

I have a lot of free mins for international calls but none of the calls I’ve made for the past few days has been able to go through, Anybody know the reason why?

@CHIGOZIE- Yes that's yet another country that has never been on an add-on here but I guess we had been able to call it. We've been hearing a few people notice several countries being lost for the last little while.

No, it's Nigeria. Nigeria is also not in the list if that is the case

So, I am on the 500 minutes bonus for international calls and trying to call Nigeria. I have been able to do this for 2 years until now that it stopped working for last 2 weeks i guess

@softech I would presume Uganda based on this thread.

@CHIGOZIE if Uganda, then it is one of the counties NOT listed able to call with addons. But if you were able to previously that is not too surprising. Seems PM cleaned that up to reflect accurately now I guess, too bad.

Yes she is with PM too. I actually haven’t checked with hers yet if it still works might do that next.

I am humbled by your responses. And that’s very true it has been strange for 2 years I must admit lol. A good loophole I would like to get back in lol

we're merely PM Community Forum members..just like you. All we can show you is the "official" list of countrys you're eligible to call with your add-on.

There could be a loophole alright...maybe PM has closed it recently.

If you were successful in the past, good for you. Hopefully you'll continue with that success...but there's the list as far as we know it to be.

BUT...strange things do happen in the PM world.

Is your wife with Public? I would say you have used an unofficial benefit to call there. Uganda has never been an official destination to call.

There have been other unofficial destinations that could be called. So the free ride is over.

I’ll keep trying. I have not been having a problem at all for the past 2 years I guess am out of luck with the network this time.

I have been calling Uganda for 2 years now with my PM card even used my wife’s phone to see the difference and it worked. I guess if you don’t have people to call there you would never know.

@Davis11   again, this is not on the official list.  Maybe PM has tightened the loophole.

You can try to open ticket with PM support to confirm, but I am pretty sure they will give you the same answer since it is not on the list

it doesn't appear that Uganda is included in your Int'l Calling minutes.

Get to 7/11 and buy a  calling card.

@Davis11   you cannot call Uganda with PM long distance add on

   please note PM's long distance add on bonus can only call the follwoing countries (Uganda is not part of this list)

International Long Distance calling add-on covers the following countries: Canada, United States, China, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Italy, South Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom, and Venezuela.

I am kind of a tech savvy person and all things I have done have failed. I know how to make an international call with codes. I am trying to call Uganda.

Check your international minutes if they are applicable for country you try to call.

Verify ALL country/area codes before number.

Do you get any error message?

You said 'again'. SO you did have issues before? How did you resolve it?

@Davis11   which country you are trying to call and how you make the call (the number sequence)

Also, Login My Account again using incognito mode to confirm how many minutes left with your long distance addon.  Without Incognito mode, you could be viewing old cache info with wrong usage
