My subscription didn't renew today (on Sep 10).
Is something wrong with my account set up or this is a glitch in the system?

I don't see any auto-payment option on my account. It just says subscription is ON and renewal is in October.
My CC info is in tact as I have just manually renewed. Can I assume that my account is setup for "auto-renewal" and there shouldn't be issues in October?

Regrettably, this happens alot here. Sign into your account to verify and make a manual payment if it didnt automatically renew.

just some random payment glitch. You can login My Account and make a manual payment to resume (of course, make sure your cc still valid and not expired)
