My plan renewed, but 75% data used while sleeping

I received a text message from public mobile that said my plan renewed on August 18th. I received a text message while sleeping at 12:45am on August 18th that stated I had used 75% of my data. No software updates occurred and my cell phone was not being used. I was also connected to the wifi in my house and not using data. What happened? Please advise.

Thanks for the advice. It was just a glitch. My data is at nearly 0% used when I signed into my account today. I should’ve checked there first. Now I know 🙂

The same thing shows in my account today and I have also used no data since renewal.

It's pobably a delayed usage warning from before your plan renewed or just an errant text. If you cannof view an up to date account usage page try downloading your usage pages and/or try calling 611 for your data usage.

Log in into your account (use computer) and check it there. Messages might not be accurate.

Use different browser or incognito mode; clear cache.

Check your usage; you might download Excel sheet as site might not show correct usage too.

@pjgagne   it could be that you are reading off the cached version and not the live usage from the server

 

Please try to login again using Incognito Mode or try it on a completely different browser (Edge/Firefox/Chrome) , they should give you the real reading
