My package was changed without my consent

Hello,

My package was changed from 25$ to 35$ without my consent, how is this possible?

I discovered this by chance when I was looking at my credit card transactions

That is really frustrating

@MohsenM  To add to what @Rastin said, make sure to log in to your account to view newer offers through change subscription because they are not necessarily shown on the regular Shop page.

I Would recommend checking out the newer plans some are better then the old and you may be able to save some money. But if you do make sure you change on renewal and not change now

Hello @MohsenM

I wouldn't say changed. I would say screwed over. Public Mobile removed the Legacy Rewards program at the start of May. Anyone, which I'm assuming you're one of them, had their Legacy Rewards aka Loyalty Discount that you EARNED, removed causing you to pay more for your plan. So now you no longer get a discount and have to pay full price. I have to admit, for people who were on Legacy Rewards and earned the $5 to be transferred to the new Public Points system, would have been the right and ethical move to make. But Public Mobile chose not to be ethical and be more about greed.

@MohsenM

was that always a $35 plan but you got discount and so PM only charged $25 before?

Maybe the "increase" was due to the fact that  autopay/loyalty discount/friend rewards gone?   PM has ended that old system and moved everyone to the new Public Points!!

So, now you have to pay full price first and PM will give you back points after.  Instead of loyalty rewards monthly, you get 10 points per year on your anniversary date with Public Mobile.  Instead of $2 autopay discount, you get 5% of your plan in points.

And the points are useful to reduce the bill. After you got 15+ points, you will go to rewards site to redeem 15 points for $15 bill credit
