When I entered my new phone number it couldn't find it I had used the account number that create at Walmart. I got a text message from a public mobile. I can see my plan under my account, but I don't see my phone number. It looks like the sim card not active under my profile. Right now I want to porting my old number to public what I should do. should I porting my old number or should act to a new number? Is anyone has expirence ?please advice thank you.

@ericay750 wrote:Thank you ! It very helpful. I have fill out the porting request detail and submitted my ticket.
One more questions is how do I know I did submitted correctly where can I check that.. After I submitted it I did not got any confirmation thought. I only saw the words under the form :
Verification Submitted!
Is this mean I did right ?
I am little confused.
When they are going to start porting after I submitted. How long the It will be completed ?
Thank you so much !
Look in your private messaging outbox. Details of the ticket that you sent to the moderators will be shown there.
Assuming that you passed the Public Mobile account verification steps, moderators will submit the porting request immediately as soon as they process your ticket. That usually is done within 48 hours.

If you log in your self serve account again and click "change plan". On the left hand side you will see the phone number.
The phone number is likely the temporary one Walmart set up for you when activating the sim card since you didn't port your number over from another provider.
Now that your account is set up it's time to port that number over. Ensure the number with whatever provider it currently is on that the account is in good standing. As it has to be in good standing to port.
To complete your port-in request, please open our chatbot via this link and type in “port request” to be put in touch with a Moderator.
If you used a referral code for a $10 signup bonus the credit will be applied within 72 hours of activating your sim card.
Welcome to Public Mobile 🙂
