My International Samsung S23 Ultra Not Working With Public Mobile

Hi, 

I bought the Samsung S23 Ultra while I was oversee (SM_918B) but when I put the public mobile sim card in. It does not work.

Any idea?

any change you can borrow a Freedom sim card?? usually Freedom sim card can do the trick to open up the APN menu so you can create new APN profile for PM

There isn't an option to add new APN.
ANd can't edit existing either. It grayed out

that can be an issue, I wonder if your APN is correct

Can you Add new (click on the + on top) and create a new one for PM?

The option to edit APN is grey-out. Not allow to add or edit APN

@cam1982 Try Reset All network once

And check and update the APN accordingly:

Voice partially work. Whenever I make call, it will tell waiting for complete long distant call even I call my other number in Ontario.
Data not working at all

HI @cam1982 

are you using physical sim?

first, does the phone connect to PM network at all?  Voice working? just data not working?

Try to click Reset All networks and see if it works

Also, check VPN screen, make sure there is no VPN profile, disable or even delete them

@Handy1  - I tested with Roger's SIM card, and it works fine. Because I had a great plan with Public Mobile, I don't want to switch to Rogers. 
I heard the Telus whitelist the phone, so the other phone will not work. I think PM can help to whitelist my phone.

@cam1982  That could be a problem if it’s not a Canada model , can you test the SIM card in another phone to test ?
