Monthly reset date ?

Seems I started my account on the 26th and recently paid on the 26th. Today is the 2nd of the month and my data is running out as it has yet to reset. When will this happen ? Data is important and I cannot have it running out due to errors in the system.

How about a referral to a tech as when my data runs out and my payment taken , it’s straight to the CRTC with this later today. Leave me without a needed paid for service is not acceptable. All things considered it’s not too hard for any staff of Public Mobile to find the issue and fix it without delay. No staff may make it cheaper but leaving me no internet and no phone number to call is ridiculous   Cheers.

Are you able to post a screenshot of your payment history? There is a lot of information on that screen and it quite often helps clarify things. 

Also were you able to try the lost/stolen feature i referenced in the link earlier?

Next payment date I’d November the 24th. My balance is 0 and I’m on autopay ...

Please show the Available Balance area of the Overview page, it will tell us your next date for payment, and we can work back from that.  I'm wondering if you've done a plan change since you've mentioned something about the $10 plan, and getting the $50 instead.

According to the screenshot it didn't renew as you said or you used a lot of data in a very few days. Yes, i was looking for another screenshot, if you do not have time try the link I suggested above.

With 95% data used warning and 200 mb left , I will hope some of whatever “staff” or “technicians” get on their game today. I was not happy with London Drugs not allowing the $10 plan and avoided them when a free sim special happened and paid for mine.  Now I get what seems to be. Good plan and wtf? Take my money fine.  Reset when it rolls over would be good also but when it doesn’t rollover when it should , issues

Confirm everything else is working properly? Text in/out, Callin/out? 

What does you payment history show? Coiuld you post a screenshot with personal data blocked out?

This is strange because if it did not renew you should not have any data! Plan data does not carry over to next cycle.

Well it has not as it should have and this concerns me as I use a data counter and now I have no idea where I stand due to it not resetting on Public Mobile. On the West Coast and about my start my day.  This is not too nice to maybe run out of data today. 

@stemcell, if you're on the $50 8GB plan, it renews every 30 days.  The data *should* also renew at that time.  It does not roll over to the next period as it is part of your base plan.

 

If you paid again on October 26th, your data should have reset overnight on the 27th (if your pay by date is 26th).

I am subscribed to the 8gb 3G plan and it is not an add on.  I started the  26th and paid for that plan again just a few days ago. So when will it reset and start ? Before I run out of data maybe ?  I do like it carrying over moreso but that says add on ?

Yes, i meant i haven't heard recently as the bug was fixed.

If you have a data add-on it will not reset, it will however carry over to the next cycle until it is used up at which time you need to manually purchase another data add-on!

@NDesai @There are instances several months back of 3g data not resetting but I have not heard if any instances lately, as I believe the bug was fixed.

 

 

Most likely if data is running out it was used  by an app or something.

@stemcell, are you on a 3G data plan?  There have previously been reports about data not resetting at the start of the new 30 or 90-day cycle.

Your plan resets on every new cycle.  Therefore if you stated a new cycle on 26/37 then your data reserved it self.

 

Loginto self serve and check the data add-on stats it should say used /total 

 

 

Why do you think the data did not reset?

@stemcell If you renewed your plan, your data should reset it self. I have not heard of this recently so not sure what went wrong. Review your recent data usage from your self-serve account and see if it was used up after 26th. 

 

EDIT: Do you have data included in your plan or you purchased a data add-on?
