Thank you for your reply. I've had my account 8 months and ported my number from TELUS Mobility at the time. This is a new phenomenon.

Thanks for your reply Meow. I would have thought a call is a call, but apparently not for me. My mobile does not ring. I think the calls are being directed to my outgoing voicemail message, but i can't access my voicemail.

Thanks for your reply. I know they are land lines, because I know the people. Also I called from my own land line. The other 2 callers can contact me from their mobile phones, but not from their TELUS land lines. I believe it goes directly to voicemail, but i can't access voicemail on my mobile account.

No. Those numbers are not blocked. I tried 3 different land lines and no calls came through.

Strange... and highly unlikely.
Call is a call no matter if it comes from mobile or land line. Maybe you block those people?
So you CAN receive calls and sms from other people and you CAN call everybody?

@JinJane , I can't say that I have experienced this. Also I can't say that it is possible for me to discern a real landline call. I am not sure there are many real landlines in existence these days. What happens when a call is made on the landline?
