Hi, I have a trip planned for Mexico in March. I don't see an add on plan that I can purchase for a short time, and don't need to step up another $10/month for a plan that includes Mexico. Are there any options available? Can I do an upgrade for March, then go back to my existing plan in April?
Thanks

hi @jb66
don't touch the original account.
your second account can be sim or esim, does not really matter
when you go to Mex, remove the original account sim card, then insert the 2nd account sim card, or enable the esim for the 2nd account

I am considering buying a second PM subscription for the Mexico coverage, and using it for 1 month. I have my existing account on my sim. Should I put my original account on the esim, then put my 2nd temporary account on my old sim? Or does it not make any difference?

Yes, you can switch plans, but the only thing is if you have a plan, say like the $20 deal Public had, you can't switch back to it as you can only switch to available plans.
What I would suggest to do is buy another plan on another account, pay for that month, then close it after. This is what I did. I was going to the States at the time; my plan didn't include coverage in the States, so I went with Rogers, bought a plan for one month, and closed it after. This is an option you could consider.

Sorry there are no Add-on plan for Mexico.
Your option is to purchase the Canada, USA & Mexico plan. The only problem is that you won’t be able to switch back to your old plan when you return to Canada…you have to pick plans available in your account.
You can purchase a local SIM in Mexico or use TextNow or WhatsApp (all parties must have this app) when connected to hotel or public wifi.
