May I please have my phone number back?

JeremyFillmore1

I switched from Koodo.

Buddy at Walmart said he couldn't port my number, he told me to come online to get my number.

My number was "Unavailable", either way I spun it.

Thanks for your help,

Jeremy

@ron136are you able to loginto selfserve?  what does the overview page say?  does your plan show up.  if you can log in you can try the lost stole trick  https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Paying-for-your-service/SOLUTION-My-plan-has-enough-f...

@voya

Hopefully, you will get  a response tomorrow.  Moderator wait times have been around 72 hours unfortunately.

please is your issues solved? mine has been pending for more than 48hrs , no response from MOD. Unfortunately, i am a new PM user 😞

@ron136 Moderator response time is slower than desirable; seems to be 24 - 48 hours. Hang in there.

Meanwhile, if you need to make phone calls try an application like that from fongo.com. It provides free calling across Canada from wherever you are connected to wifi (or on cellular data).

I'm having issues with porting too. I messaged the mod team last night but haven't heard anything back yet. Currently have no service with either my previous carrier Koodo or public mobile after self porting online... Hoping to hear from them very soon.

@JeremyFillmore1, don't worry, your number will not be lost from a failed port.  Were you trying to port from Koodo prepaid over to this service?  If so, then only the moderator team can complete the number port.  If you porting to the Koodo post paid, it is a self serve function.  Since you have activated an account, I suggest logging into the account and trying to submit a number port yourself, that is assuming the number was in a Koodo post paid account.  If that does not work or it was on the Koodo prepaid service, please contact the moderator team for assistance.  The moderator team can be reached via private message using this link.  Please include in the private message account number and PIN code. Refer to the following knowledge base link for additional information on contacting the moderator team.

By the way, I edited your phone number.  Please do not post personal information in the public forum.

Send a PM to the moderator and they will help you.

Was your plan expired at Koodo?  Only active phone numbers can be ported.  If it was a prepaid Koodo plan, that would need Moderator_Team help anyways.

Please edit your post with your phone number.  This is a publicly accessible forum - personal information should not be shared unless in Private Messages (envelope icon top right of every page).
