How do I manually port my phone number from public mobile to freedom? My SIM card was thrown out

The above doesn't answer the customer's question. Performing the above steps won't work as number porting to Freedom would fail in this situation.

Your option is to purchase a new SIM or eSIM and Change Your SIM Card in the Account tab since Freedom is not part of Telus. If it was Koodo or Telus then a manual confirmation is possible.
Also your PM account must be active to confirm and complete the porting process.
If you don’t want to purchase a SIM/eSIM then just pick a new number from Freedom.

Well that's gonna be a problem as you need your PM account to be active so they can send you a message to confirm the port request. Use this link to message Customer Support to see if they can help out...
